We have witnessed over the past few months, a side of the entertainment industry which has negatively impacted many of worlds top entertainment. We see the glitz and the glamor however, it seem that more now than ever the negative impacts of stardom can be devastating. From pop tart Britney spears recent drama to Amy Winehouses ongoing saga. It clearly depicts the old saying “all that glitters isn’t gold. When singer Mariah Carey couldn’t take it, she went to a sanitarium. When times got tough for Alanis Morissette she fled to India and when singer Alicia Keys is what many sources have called a near breakdown, in 2006, she went to Egypt.
During a recent interview with a the entertainment magazine “Pop Matters,”Alicia Keys spoke candidly about her recent trip to Egypt and the events which made her feel the need to run away.
